Timothy Rhoads is the Business Manager for MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s Airborne Radar Systems and Techniques Group. Prior to joining the Lab, he served in the U.S. Air Force as an Airborne Linguist, executing critical Electronic Surveillance and Electronic Attack missions aboard the EC-130H “Compass Call” aircraft and as an Airborne Special Intelligence (SI) Operator on multiple aircraft.  Following Active Duty, he continued his aviation career as an Airborne Sensor Operator on multiple fixed-wing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft. Deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and Inherent Resolve, he amassed over 5,000 combat flight hours supporting conventional and coalition efforts and Special Operations Direct Action missions, targeting the most wanted and dangerous coalition enemies. He also has vast experience supporting Force Protection, Counter-IED, Counter-Drug, and Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) efforts.
